Daniel Schutzer

Daniel Schutzer serves as Chief Technology Officer of The Financial Services Roundtable since January 2010. Previously, he was President of the Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC) from April 2005 to January 2010. Prior to FSTC, Dan was Director and Senior Vice President at Citigroup. During his over 35 years at Citigroup, he worked in areas ranging from trading systems, advanced technology, payments and security. Dan also worked as Technical Director of Navy Command, Control and Communications, followed by his serving as Technical Director of US Naval Intelligence; Director of New Business for Sperry Rand/Univac; Bell Laboratory and IBM. He received his MSEE and Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Syracuse University and his BSEE from City College of New York. Dan currently is a Fellow and Advisory Board member of the New York Academy of Sciences. He has been a Board member of ASC X9 and Chairman of ISO TC 68 Security Working Group. He has been published in over 65 publications and has authored 7 books.
